The Mui Ho Fine Arts Library is inside Rand Hall on Cornell's campus.  The three stories of shelves float nearly five feet above the floor hanging from the ceiling and only fasten to the slab via sway control cables.  The floors are made of grating to allow light to travel through the large structure and offer adequate ventilation.  This very industrial looking library creates a stark contrast to the exterior of the century old building it resides in.
